I joined McDevitt & Duffy CPA’s in 2021 and recently had my CPA license reinstated after taking time away to raise a family. I love the opportunity this profession allows to get to know people and help them as they navigate life and all the changes life brings.

My roots are deep in this area. I was born and raised in Shoreline. My husband and I have been married for over 32 years and have raised 4 boys in the Edmonds area.

I am currently working on my Masters of Science in Taxation at Golden Gate University and plan to graduate December 2023. My favorite classes have been on estate taxation.

When not working or studying, I enjoy walks with my dog, a 6 year old Cavachon. Although she is cute, she likes to stay away from any intruders on her walk.

Since COVID started my mom and I have been reading books together. This has greatly increased the variety of books I read to include books such as My Own Words by Ruth Bader Ginsburg or The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot.

For vacations I love planning trips to Disneyland. My favorite area is the new Star Wars section. It is fun to just hang out and see the Storm Troopers maintain order. In a house with 4 boys we have accumulated Darth Vader and Storm Trooper armor of our own as well as countless light sabers.

One of my favorite places to be is at the beach. Every summer I look forward to heading to Seabrook with my family to enjoy the beach, build sandcastles and spend quality time together.
